Напередодні у столиці Великобританії Лондоні група активістів провела мітинг проти діяльності на території тимчасово окупованих територій Донбасу підприємств, якими володіє відомий бізнесмен Рінат Ахметов. Як інформує PRпортал, учасники акції вирішили висловити свій протест безпосередньо біля резиденції олігарха у головному місті Сполученого Королівства. 

Серед низки вимог, оприлюднених учасниками акції – перевірка законності отриманні прибутків компанії Ахметова у відповідності до антикорупційних законів Великобританії та антитерористичного законодавства цієї країни. Активісти наголосили, що якщо факти зловживання будуть підтверджені, британська влада повинна неодмінно накласти обмеження на діяльність олігарха та конфіскувати усе його майно на користь України. 

«На тимчасово непідконтрольній Києву території Донбасу працюють заводи та шахти. Ми вважаємо, що їхня діяльність н є можливою без співпраці з представниками окупаційної адміністрації ОРДЛО. У зв’язку з цим, британські служби повинні перевірити, чи не надавав Ахметов через роботу своїх підприємств фінансування на потреби армії проросійських терористів? Тому що фінансування тероризму у відповідності з законодавством Великобританії є серйозним злочином», - підкреслили учасники мітингу.
