У мережі з'явився унікальний неофіційний відеозапис, на якому відображені жалобні заходи в день похорону радянського диктатора Йосипа Сталіна 9 березня 1953 року

Кадри зняті на кольорову кіноплівку. Це зробив співробітник американського посольства, помічник військового аташе США в Москві Мартін Манхоф.

Зйомку він вів з балкона американського посольства. На записі Манхофа видно, як труну з тілом Сталіна несли по Червоній площі в Мавзолей. Після його помістили поряд з тілом Леніна.

На кадрах американця є представники вищого керівництва СРСР Микита Хрущов, Лаврентій Берія, В'ячеслав Молотов та інші, а також пересічні громадяни, які зібралися подивитися на похорон.
