У неділю, в російській столиці відбулася низка пікетів, учасники яких вимагали захистити політв’язнів у незаконно анексованому Росією Криму. Про це повідомляє Радіо Свобода.
У тому числі, активісти закликали підтримати Арсена Джеппарова. Він є одним з обвинувачених щодо причетності так званої «справи «Хізб ут-Тахрір». Як відомо, дану організацію Кремль визнав терористичною та заборонив її діяльність. Незважвючи на не наявність серйозних проблем зі здоров’ям у Джепарова, у сімферопольському СІЗО йому ніхто не надав необхідної допомоги від медичних працівників.
Під варту фігуранта «ялтинської справи «Хізб ут-Тахрір» Арсена Джеппарова взяли після його арешту 18 квітня 2016 року. 20 квітня 2017 року підконтрольний Кремлю Верховний суд Криму залишив Джеппарова під вартою. У минулому році влада Росії почала розслідування понад двох десятків справ, які стосувалися участі в організації «Хізб ут-Тахрір». В анексованому Криму фігурантами цих справ стали 19 осіб.
За словами представників міжнародної ісламської політичної організації «Хізб ут-Тахрір», їхня головна місія полягає у об’єднанні всіх країн мусульманського віросповідання в ісламському халіфаті, однак вони заперечують використання терористичних методів досягнення цього і стверджують, що їх переслідування в Росії є незаконним.
