У Полтаві помер 41-річний депутат Полтавської обласної ради, новообраний народним депутатом України Андрій Прокоф'єв.

Про це сьогодні повідомила прес-служба Полтавської облради. Причина смерті в повідомленні не уточнюється,пише Дзеркало тижня

З 2006 року Прокоф'єв займав посаду керівника справами Ліберальної Партії України, заступника голови партії "Батьківщина" в Полтавській області. У 2012 році він перейшов на роботу в апарат Верховної Ради України помічником-консультантом народного депутата України.

У Полтавську обласну раду шостого скликання Прокоф'єв був обраний за списком ВО "Батьківщина", входив до складу міжфракційної депутатської групи "Народна Рада", працював у постійній комісії з питань екології та раціонального природокористування.

На позачергових виборах до Верховної Ради України 2014 року Прокоф'єва обрали народним депутатом України за списком політичної партії "Народний фронт" (№62).
