Міськрада Праги прийняла рішення назвати новий пішохідний міст через річку Ботич на честь українського дисидента Василя Макуха.

У Празі на честь українського дисидента Василя Макуха назвуть пішохідний міст через річку Ботич в районі Вршовице. Про це в середу, 16 травня, повідомив посол України в Чехії Євген Перебийніс на своїй сторінці в соцмережі Facebook, пише Кореспондент

За його словами, відповідне рішення прийняла міська рада Праги.

"Зусилля посольства та української громади в Чехії дали результат. Міська рада Праги прийняла рішення назвати новий пішохідний міст через річку Ботич, яка є притокою Влтави, в Празькому районі Вршовице на честь українського дисидента і борця за свободу Василя Макуха", - написав посол.

Перебийніс додав, що від цього мосту бере свій початок вулиця з назвою Українська.

До слова, Василь Макух 5 листопада 1968 року на Хрещатику в Києві здійснив акт самоспалення, виступаючи проти окупації Чехословаччини радянськими військами
