У збройних силах РФ створені так звані війська інформаційних операцій.

Про це сказав міністр оборони Росії Сергій Шойгу, виступаючи у середу в Держдумі РФ, повідомляє Укрінформ з посиланням на "Інтерфакс".

"Створені війська інформаційних операцій, що набагато ефективніше, сильніше", - сказав Шойгу, відповідаючи на запитання про необхідність відновлення управління, яке займалося контрпропагандою.

"Пропаганда повинна бути розумною, грамотною та ефективною", - сказав Шойгу.

Уперше про необхідність створення в російській армії кіберкомандування у березні 2012 заявляв віце-прем'єр РФ Дмитро Рогозін. В 2013 році у ЗМІ повідомляли, що у ВС РФ буде створено кіберкомандування для протидії віртуальним загрозам. За словами джерела, кіберкомандування мало було бути створене в 2014 році як новий рід військ.

Однак до останнього часу в Росії спростовували повідомлення про те, що в країні існують кібервійська.
