Брати Навальні звинувачуються в розкраданні 26 млн рублів у компанії "Ів Роше" і на двох їм загрожує 18 років в'язниці. Соцмережі збентежені таким жорстоким вироком, що згодом і призвело до організації "Евроманежки". На даний момент спільноти на підтримку мітингу 15 січня у Facebook налічують понад 50 тис учасників і в Twitter понад 7 тис підписників.

Роскомнагляд вже прийняв спроби придушення мітингу в підтримку політв'язнів в інтернеті. Аленайбільші соціальні мережі відмовили міністерству у блокуванні груп і згадок про Навальних, навіть під загрозою їх повного блокування в Росії.
