В американському місті Саут-Бенд (штат Індіана) десятки студентів університету Нотр-Дам та членів їхніх родин залишили стадіон під час виступу на церемонії для випускників віце-президента США Майка Пенса.

Організатори акції заявили, що таким чином хотіли висловити свою незгоду з політикою, висунутою Пенсом, щодо призупинення прийому мігрантів з деяких переважно мусульманських країн, повідомляє Радіо Свобода.

Один зі студентів-випускників перед виступом Пенса вигукнув заклик не дозволити зробити із мусульман "цапів-відбувайлів". Він також розкритикував план президента Дональда Трампа щодо будівництва стіни вздовж мексиканського кордону.
