Учора у Сполучених Штатах Америки відбулася найбільша хакерська атака за всю історію США

Про це повідомляє The New York Times.

 Через хакерську атаку в США виявилися недоступні Twitter, CNN, Spotify, Reddit, The New York Times. Йдеться про скоординовану атаку на сервери доменних імен.

Щоб зрозуміти масштаби хакерської атаки, журналісти порівняли збій в системі DNS із ситуацією, якщо раптом з автодоріг всієї країни пропадуть автопоказники.

CNBC представники Dyn заявили, що всього було три хвилі. За їх словами, напад було добре сплановано і виконано, для нього використовувалися десятки мільйонів ip-адрес.

Жодне із кіберзлочинних угруповань поки не взяло на себе відповідальність за атаку, з Dyn також ніхто не зв'язувався. 
"Dyn управляє одним з найбільших в світі DNS-сервісів, є господрядчіком, але і він виявився не готовий до атак "інтернету речей""-, констатує засновник і гендиректор компанії Qrator Олександр Лямін.

"Будь-які погрози - це завжди погоня озброєнь, а Dyn, мабуть, "розслабився""- , вважає Лямін.  За його словами, технічні деталі атаки ще не опубліковані, тому судити про її потужності непросто. Але якби вона була спрямована на російську інфраструктуру, то доставила б проблем колегам, хоча і була б вирішена з зовнішньою допомогою, впевнений Лямін.
