Над фільмом працюватиме екс-інженер Uber Сьюзан Фаулер. Вона одна з перших підняла тему сексуальних домагань, після чого послідувала низка звільнень з компанії, в тому числі звільнення засновника сервісу Тревіса Каланіка.

Зазначається, що фільм має бути чимось середнім між "Соціальною мережею" і "Ерін Брокович".
