Засновник Telegram Павло Дуров пообіцяв посилити боротьбу з каналами, що містять терористичний контент, після блокування сервісу в Індонезії 14 липня.

Про це він заявив у Telegram. У своєму каналі Дуров прокоментував інцидент і зазначив, що команда месенджеру просто не встигла відреагувати на прохання представників індонезійського міністерства зв’язку та інформаційних технологій заблокувати пов’язані з тероризмом канали.

Він також наголосив на тому, що Telegram готовий співпрацювати з владою Індонезії щодо усунення екстремістського контенту

«Telegram - добре зашифрована та орієнтована на конфіденційність платформа, проте ми не є друзями терористів. Більше того, щомісяця ми блокуємо тисячі каналів, пов’язаних з ISIS, - написав засновник месенджеру.

Наразі спеціалісти платформи вже заблокували всі канали, про які повідомила влада Індонезії. Дуров також надіслав листа чиновники міністерства зв'язку та інформаційних технологій країни для встановлення комунікації та оголосив про початок формування спеціальної команди модераторів, що володітимуть індонезійською мовою.

Нагадаємо, раніше MediaSapiens писав про те, що у березні Telegram офіційно запустив голосові виклики, а у травні месенджер надав розробникам ботів можливість додати спеціальну кнопку для проведення транзакцій.
