Турецькі правоохоронці сьогодні, 15 квітня, заарештували десятки людей через підозру у терористичній діяльності, повідомляє Укрінформ.
Таку інформацію поширюють місцеві ЗМІ. На даний момент відомо про 49 затриманих осіб. Поліцейські підозрюють їх у підготовці терористичних актів за день до того, як громадяни Туреччини вирішать долю конституційної реформи. Що цікаво, серед підозрюваних 41 особа є громадянами іноземних країн. Їх було затримано під час сьогоднішніх рейдів співробітників правоохоронних органів в декілька районів Стамбула.
Варто нагадати, що завтра, 16 квітня, в Туреччині відбудеться референдум, на який винесено питання щодо розширення владних повноважень нинішнього президента країни Реджепа Таїпа Ердогана та перехід до президентської владної системи замість парламентської. Вихідці з Туреччини, які живуть за межами батьківщини, вже проголосували при дипломатичних установах країни і результати наразі доправили вже до Туреччини. Раніше органи влади європейських країн забороняли турецьким урядовцям відвідувати свої території для проведення агітаційних зустрічей з турками. Також саму конституційну реформу в Євросоюзі піддали критиці, зазначивши, що вона наблизить країну до диктаторства.
