У соцмережі Twitter користувач тепер знову може налаштувати собі хронологічну стрічку дописів акаунтів, на які він підписаний.

Змінити вигляд стрічки можна у верхньому кутку мобільного додатку. Автоматично у Twitter відображатиметься алгоритмічна стрічка, яку соцмережа ввела в 2016 році. Чимало відомих користувачів соцмережі тоді висловилися проти змін.

Тепер, якщо користувач декілька разів переключиться на хронологічну, – саме вона стане основною.

Наразі зміни доступні для пристроїв із операційною системою iOS, а на Android функція з'явиться незабаром.

Нагадаємо, у вересні сервіс мікроблогів Twitter анонсував, що користувачі зможуть обирати між двома режимами: відображення актуальних постів та відображення постів у хронологічному порядку. Останні два роки в соцмережі була встановлена функція «Показувати спочатку кращі твіти». Якщо її відключити, то в стрічці у зворотному хронологічному порядку відображалися пости тих профілів, на які користувач підписаний.

Видання Mashable звернуло увагу на те, що акції Twitter демонструють падіння, тож таким чином компанія намагається залучити більше користувачів та мотивувати їх проводити більше часу в сервісі.
