Влада Венесуели видала 15-річну заборону на здійснення політичної діяльності одному з лідерів опозиції, губернатору штату Міранда Енріке Капрілесу.

Про це опозиціонер повідомив на своїй сторінці в Twitter.

"Повідомляю країні і міжнародній громадській думці, що мені наразі повідомили про заборону (на політичну діяльність) терміном на 15 років", — написав Капрілес. Подробиць політик не додав.

Однак, зголом Капрілес закликав своїх прихильників вийти на нові протести проти рішення влади заборонити йому політичну діяльність на 15 років.

Відзначимо, що напередодні в Венесуелі відбулися масові акції протесту проти політики влади. В ході них тільки в Каракасі постраждали щонайменше 18 осіб, передає AFP.

Раніше опозиція також влаштувала масові демонстрації на вулицях Каракаса. Поліція застосувала для розгону протестувальників сльозоточивий газ і водомети. За словами Хуліо Борхеса, спікера контрольованої опозицією Національної асамблеї, тоді постраждало щонайменше 50 осіб.
