На підставі постанови Європейської Ради в березні нинішнього року про стратегію комунікації по «Східному партнерству» в Європейській зовнішньополітичній службі створена спеціальна група з протидії російській пропаганді. Це підтвердила Катрін Рей, офіційний представник глави дипломатії ЄС Федеріки Могеріні, повідомляє Телекритика.

«Вони почнуть працювати з вересня», - повідомила прес-секретар на брифінгу в Брюсселі 27 серпня.

Катрін Рей зазначила, що більш детально про це буде повідомлено пізніше.

Нагадаємо, Голова Європейської ради ЄС Дональд Туск визнав, що Росія має велетенську програму дезінформації та антиєвропейської пропаганди. 

На початку травня Комітет Європарламенту із закордонних справ підтримав виділення коштів для боротьби з російською пропагандою.  У зазначеному документі країнам ЄС рекомендується уникати двосторонніх контактів з Російською Федерацію, а також єднати зусилля для протистояння агресивній політиці Росії.

У квітні зовнішньополітична служба ЄС оголосила набір фахівців для боротьби з російською антизахідної пропагандою.
