На першому засіданні Верховній Ради восьмого скликання вже сформовані фракції. Голова тимчасової президії Володимир Гройсман оголошує про реєстрацію фракцій та озвучує кількість членів.

Так, "Народний фронт" налічує 83 депутати, "Самопоміч" - 32 нардепи, "Батьківщина" має 19 нардепів, Радикальна партія Олега Ляшка - 22, "Опозиційний блок" зібрав 40 депутатів.

Інформація про фракцію "Блоку Петра Порошенка" була озвучена дещо пізніше. При цьому Юрій Луценко тепер керує найбільшою фракцією в Раді - вона налічує 146 депутатів.

Так, офіційно фракції очолили: "Народний фронт" - Олександр Турчинов, Блок Петра Порошенка - Юрій Луценко, "Батьківщина" - Юлія Тимошенко, "Опозиційний блок" - Юрій Бойко, Радикальна партія - Олег Ляшко.
