Ненависть российских граждан к украинцам разожгла пропаганда России с участием государственных медиа. Также этому способствовали систематические факты фальсификаций в Кремле. В настоящее время Россия продолжает углублять конфликт, что требует незамедлительной реакции международного сообщества на эту ситуацию. С такими словами на заседании Четвертого комитета ГА ООН выступил первый секретарь Постоянного представительства Украинского государства в ООН Олег Николаенко. Об этом сообщает PRпортал
В частности представитель Украины в ООН заявил: «Мы имеем глубочайшие беспокойства из-за масштабной кампании пропаганды и подстрекательства ненависти к нашей стране и украинцам, которую активно осуществляют российские государственные средства массовой информации и общественные деятели РФ. Это сильно отразилось на разжигании агрессии РФ против Украинского государства и дальнейшего вооруженного конфликта на востоке нашей страны».
В это же время он подчеркнул, что власть России в значительной мере ограничила пространство для независимых СМИ, а также усилила контроль над государственными средствами массовой информации, сделав из них мощнейшие инструменты государственной пропаганды, которые производят неправдивые новости. В итоге представитель Украинской миссии в ООН подчеркнул: «Мы имеем убеждение, что информационная безопасность является основным элементов в каждой системе нацбезопасности, и ООН должна стать маяком для этого путем выявления и привлечения к ответственности тех, кто принимает участие в пропагандистских войнах».
