Для Украины принципиально важно провести выборы на временно неподконтрольной Украине части Донбасса по украинским законам. Об этом в эфире "5 канала" заявил заместитель главы Администрации президента Украины Константин Елисеев.

"Для нас принципиально важно все-таки провести местные выборы в отдельных районах Донецкой и Луганской областей исключительно в соответствии с законами Украины и по стандартам БДИПЧ/ОБСЕ", – сказал он.

Говоря о возможности диалога с лидерами т. н. "ЛНР" и "ДНР", Елисеев подчеркнул, что прямой диалог может быть исключительно с законно избранными органами власти.

Ранее президент Украины Петр Порошенко призвал расширить санкции против РФ в связи с решением провести псевдовыборы на Донбассе. Глава государства отметил, что решение лидеров так называемых "ДНР" и "ЛНР" о проведении фейковых выборов 18 октября и 1 ноября представляет огромную угрозу минским договоренностям. А вот в России считают, что проведение таких выборов минскому процессу не противоречит.

В Украине выборы в местные органы власти назначены на 25 октября.
