Президент України Петро Порошенко підписав закон №5333, згідно з яким тепер кримськотатарський телевізійний канал ATR фінансуватися з кишень громадян України. Про це можна дізнатися з відповідного документу, який оприлюднили у п’ятницю, 2-го грудня, на офіційному веб-сайті Верховної Ради.


У повідомленні зазначається, що президент Петро Порошенко підписав даний закон в день оприлюднення. Як повідомлялося раніше, парламент прийняв даний проект закону ще 17-го листопада. Кримськотатарський телеканал ATR раніше заявляв, що українська влада не забезпечує його фінансуванням, і в такому випадку він буде змушений переїхати до Литви. Головний редактор каналу Осман Пашаєв розповідав, що раніше Кабінет міністрів України обіцяв телеканалу щорічне фінансування в розмірі 40 мільйонів гривень. Проте Міністерство фінансів так і не виділило ці гроші. А після анексії українського півострова окупаційна влада не видавала ліцензії на мовлення приватним засобам масової інформації. Пізніше ATR все такий зміг відновити свою роботу, але йому постійно «вставляли палки в колеса». Через деякий час деякі місцеві ЗМІ переїхали працювати до материкової України.
