Розміщення президентом Петром Порошенком на своїх сторінках у соцмережах фотографії подарунка своїх підлеглих - "обкладинки англомовного журналу The Economist за 2017 рік", де він зображений поруч зі світовими лідерами викликало бурхливу реакцію блогосфери

В Адміністрації президента України пояснили, що з огляду на те, що "це був наш подарунок президенту до Нового року, ми б хотіли, щоб подібні святкові ідеї сприймались з часткою жарту, і обов'язково через призму пошуку Україною свого місця в світі".

Утім, цей жарт спровокував цілу низку фотожаб і жартів на цю тему.
