Українська делегація залишила залу Генеральної Асамблеї ООН під час виступу президента Росії Володимира Путіна.

"Ми не можемо чути "солодкі речі" про глобальний мир від людини, яка створює локальні війни", - пізніше написав на своєму twitter представник України в ООН Юрій Сергеєв.

Народний депутат Ганна Гопко, яка присутня на засіданні у Нью-Йорку, оприлюднила фото, повідомивши про присутніх на балконі "активістів з прапором України, розстріляним під Ілловайськом".

 
 
 

Пізніше глава МЗС України Павло Клімкін пояснив, що українська делегація залишила залу Генасамблеї ООН під час виступу Путіна, бо не захотіла перебувати поруч із президентом Росії.

"Скільки оплесків було під час виступу Обами, який говорив про демократію, про цінності, основний месидж якого був - потрібно йти вперед, а не озиратися назад, не робити те, що робилося століття тому. І жодних оплесків під час виступу Путіна", - сказав Клімкін в ефірі "5 каналу" в понеділок увечері.

Коментуючи сам виступ президента Росії, міністр висловив думку, що "це була беземоційна промова, в якій він знову повторював абсолютно відомі аргументи Росії, абсолютно нічого нового".

"Звичайно, слухати те, що говорить Путін і перебувати саме перед ним під час його виступу я, наприклад, не маю жодного бажання. Так само, як і українська делегація", - сказав він, цитує "Інтерфакс-Україна".

"Це не просто демарш. Ми показали ставлення й до Росії, яка є агресором, а також до того, що говорив Путін", - додав Клімкін.

Як відомо, 28 вересня російська делегація залишила залу під час виступу президента України Петра Порошенка на сесії Генасамблеї ООН.
