В українській Вікіпедії з 30 січня по 1 лютого пройде Вікіфлешмоб, присвячений 11-річчю української Вікіпедії.

Протягом Вікіфлешмобу користувачів інтернету закликають долучатися до розбудови української Вікіпедії, написавши статтю. Найактивніші учасники акції отримають пам’ятні сувеніри,повідомляє Українська правда

Участь у цьому Вікіфлешмобі можен взяти кожен охочий: для цього необхідно написати нову статтю на будь-як тему. Для новачків створено сторінку Вікіфлешмобу, яка пояснює ключові засади енциклопедії та дозволяє легко створити статтю через "Майстер написання статей".

Всі статті мають відповідати критеріям значимості, бути написаними на підставі авторитетних джерел та посилатись на них, не порушувати авторського права, а також дотримуватись нейтральної точки зору й не містити оригінальних досліджень.

Нагадаємо, що перший Вікіфлешмоб був проведений 27 квітня 2014 року, і він був присвячений пам’яті Ігоря Костенка, редактора Вікіпедії, який загинув 20 лютого 2014 року під час розстрілу активістів Євромайдану на вул. Інститутській у Києві. Ігор Костенко ще перед трагічними подіями прагнув реалізувати ідею Вікіфлешмобу.

30 січня 2015 року українська Вікіпедія святкуватиме 11-річчя від часу створення першої статті.
