Компанія Sony опублікувала на своєму сайті список лауреатів всесвітнього конкурсу фотографії Sony World Photography Awards 2015. Український фотограф Вадим Сивак зайняв третє місце в номінації "Архітектура", пропустивши вперед італійця Массімо Сірагуса і румуна Космина Бумбута,пише Корреспондент


Переможцем Sony World Photography Awards, а також володарем Золотої діафрагми, титулу "Фотограф року" та грошової винагороди в розмірі 25 тисяч доларів став американський фотограф Джон Мур.

Як зазначають організатори конкурсу, старший штатний фотограф і спеціальний кореспондент Getty Images Мур був відзначений за серію фотознімків, присвячених лихоманці Ебола. На кадрах показано життя в Моравії, столиці Ліберії, в якій лютує смертельна епідемія.

У міжнародному конкурсі Sony World Photography Awards2015 на перемогу претендували чотири українці - ВадимСивак в категорії "Архітектура", Владислав Mусіенко вномінації "Дебати", Кирило Головченко в розділі"Натюрморт" і Олександр Киценко в категорія Open Low Light.

Цього року було надіслано рекордну кількість фоторобіт- 173,4 тисячі з 171 країни світу - найбільшого числа заявок за семирічну історію премії.
