Партія "Українське об'єднання патріотів" ("УКРОП") на місцевих виборів 25 жовтня вирішила висунути кандидатом на мера Києва главу політради партії Геннадія Корбана. Таке рішення було ухвалено на з'їзді партії 12 вересня.

Сам Корбан під час представлення заявив, що таке рішення було ухвалено під час "довгих дискусій" на засіданнях політради.

Разом з тим кандидатом на мера Дніпропетровська вирішено висунути екс-заступника голови Дніпропетровської ОДА Бориса Філатова.

У ході відеовключення Філатова з Дніпропетровська він подякував партії та її політраді за вибір його кандидатури, і особисто подякував екс-главі Дніпропетровської ОДА Ігорю Коломойському за "старт його політичної кар'єри".

Як відомо, раніше "Об'єднання "Самопоміч" на місцевих виборів 25 жовтня вирішила висунути на посаду мера Києва кандидатуру депутата Київської міськради, ресторатора Сергія Гусовського.
