Кандидатом в народные депутаты Верховной Рады по 205-му округу выдвинул свою кандидатуру Александр Величко, которого в марте этого года похитили во дворе Днепропетровской областной государственной администрации,пишет Сегодня.

По словам Величко, его 9 дней пытали и удерживали в заложниках.

Тогда Величко в своем похищении обвинил экс-зама губернатора Днепропетровской области Геннадия Корбана. В настоящий момент СБУ расследует уголовное дело по этому делу.

Величко отметил, что решил баллотироваться по 205-му округу, потому что боится, что его "уберут как важного свидетеля".

"Моей единственной защитой может стать поддержка жителей Чернигова", – сказал он
