Центризбирком Беларуси завершил прием документов от претендентов на пост президента страны, всего подано 14 заявок.

Действующий глава Беларуси Александр Лукашенко также выдвинул свою кандидатуру. Три инициативных группы уже объявлены прошедшими регистрацию,пишет Главком

Речь, в частности, идет о группе, выдвинувшей Лукашенко, а также об инициативных группах председателя Либерально-демократической партии Сергея Гайдукевича и председателя Белорусской партии левых «Справедливый мир» Сергея Калякина.

На пост также претендуют четыре женщины, среди которых активистка просветительской кампании «Говори правду» Татьяна Короткевич, учительница Жанна Романовская, специалист по рекламе Ирина Першина и детский воспитатель Тамара Бирюкова.

Кроме того, документы на регистрацию подали оппозиционный политик Анатолий Лебедько и уже баллотировавшийся в президенты Николай Статкевич, отбывающий сейчас тюремный срок за участие в акциях протеста после прошлых выборов.

Напомним, президентские выборы в Беларуси пройдут 11 октября.
