Социальные сети Facebook, Snapchat и Twitter должны до 2018 года разработать способ получения согласия родителей на регистрацию в соцсети или же отказа в доступе, об этом пишет британское издание The Financial Times, передает ZN.ua

Согласно новым правилам, в Евросоюзе подросткам младше 16 лет будет требоваться согласие родителей, вступят в силу в 2018 году. 

В Великобритании один из пяти детей младше 11 лет имеет аккаунт в Facebook, несмотря на то, что это противоречит правилам пользования соцсети. Согласно правилам этой соцсети, пользователь должен быть старше 13 лет. Около 80% британских подростков в возрасте от 12 до 17 лет являются пользователями Facebook. 

Таким образом, перед крупными компаниями стоит задача по разработке способа получения согласия родителей на регистрацию в соцсети или же отказа в доступе. 

Подчеркивается, что компании, которые не предусмотрят это в регистрации, согласно закону, будут оштрафованы на сумму до 4% от своего мирового оборота.
