В полицейской службе Европейского Союза Европол будет создано новое подразделение, цель которого - борьба с пропагандой террористической организации Исламское государство в социальных сетях. Как отмечают в правоохранительных органах ЕС, более конкретное задание - предотвращение вербовки посредством Сети. 

В настоящее время полиции удалось отследить 45-50 тысяч аккаунтов, которые связаны с ИГ, и через которые в Интернет ежедневно попадает около 100 тысяч твитов и других сообщений. В полиции не говорят названия компаний, которые согласились сотрудничать в рамках этой программы, пишет The Guardian, передает ЛIГАБiзнесIнформ

Новое подразделение Европола начнет свое работу с 1 июля. Цель - удаление связанных с джихадистами аккаунтов в течение двух часов после их обнаружения. 

Напомним, в начале месяца глава штаба сухопутных войск США Рэймонд Одиерно заявил, что международной коалиции под руководством США потребуется несколько лет для победы над исламистами ИГ.
