Представители украинского гражданского общества в Брюсселе возмущены проведением в среду в Европарламенте мероприятия, направленного на дискредитацию Украины некоторыми пророссийскими депутатами.

Об этом  заявила руководитель общественной организации «Городов ЕС-Украина» Анна Яворская,пишет Укринформ.

«Украинская громада в Бельгии, увидев анонс события «Массовое убийство в Одессе», организатором которой является парламентарий Татьяна Жданок, решила отреагировать и представить Европарламенту альтернативную точку зрения», - рассказывала общественный активист.

Организатором мероприятия является депутат Европарламента, сопредседатель партии «Русский союз Латвии» Татьяна Жданок. Латвийский европарламентарий называет это встречей со свидетелями и жертвами «одесской резни (массового убийства)» 2 мая.

Организаторы заявляют, что «2 мая 2014 года Одесса увидела столкновения между сторонниками украинской федерализации и антинацистскими активистами с одной стороны и активистами неонацистского «Правого сектора» и футбольными фанатами - с другой».

Накануне в социальных сетях представители украинских патриотических кругов в ЕС выражали возмущение по поводу направленности мероприятия, которое анонсируется в лучших традициях антиукраинской российской пропаганды.
