Разблокировка домена forbes.ua прошла без ведома американского издательского дома. "Forbes не было предоставлено какого-либо уведомления о недавнем судебном процессе в Украине", - об этом liga.net сообщила старший вице-президент по корпоративным коммуникациям Forbes в США Миа Карбонелл.
 
Как сообщала 15 января liga.net, украинскому издателю Forbes Украинский медиа холдинг удалось разблокировать домен forbes.ua через украинский суд и снова перенести на него свою онлайн-версию. Ответчиком по делу выступал украинский доменный регистратор Imena.ua. 
 
В америнканском Forbes при этом утверждают, что вопрос о домене еще не рассматривался. 
 
"Вопрос касательно доменного имени - Forbes.ua - это часть большего происходящего в настоящее время судебного спора между Forbes и УМХ. Начало слушания в Арбитраже Нью-Йорка запланировано на 1 февраля. Оно будет касаться всех остающихся спорных вопросов сторон", - сообщила Карбонелл.  
 
Напомним, в начале августа 2015 года американское правительство применило санкции против владельца УМХ Сергея Курченко, отказав в доступе к ТМ Forbes, его контенту и домену. Украинскому Forbes пришлось переехать на временный домен forbes.net.ua. УМХ посчитал, что Forbes нарушил их права по действующему договору - лицензия, по данным украинскго холдинга, оплачена до конца 2018 года.
