По информации известны испанских средств массовой информации, инициаторами продвижения незаконного референдума в испанской Каталонии являются подконтрольные РФ СМИ и российские боты, - сообщает PRпортал. К тому же, отмечается, что, что к распространению сепаратизма в Каталонии причастны Джулиан Ассандж и Эдвард Сноуден.

«По завершении тайных компаний, направленных на поддержку Brexit, Марин Ле Пен или ультраправых сил Германии, в Кремле увидели в процессе каталонской независимости очередную возможность, чтобы углубить кризис в европейских странах и усилить свое международное влияние, используя сайты, которые публикуют информацию исключительно на пользу референдума», – сообщает El Pais.

Журналисты издания подчеркивают, что для этого российские власти и спецслужбы прибегают к услугам основателя Wikileaks Джулиана Ассанжа, его соратника Эдварда Сноудена. К тому же, используется «армия ботов и миллионы автоматизированных профилей в социальных сетях, которые могут превратить ложь в общие тенденции современности». Достаточно резко против политики Испании выступили агентства RT и Sputnik.
