В Киргизии в воскресенье, 4 октября, проходят выборы в Жогорку Кенеш (Верховный совет) республики. Выборы проводятся исключительно по партийным спискам. На 120 мест в новом составе парламента претендуют 14 политических партий. Для прохождения им нужно набрать не менее 7% от общего числа принявших участие в выборах граждан и 0,7% голосов в каждом регионе,пишет РБК

Впервые в истории страны голосование проходит по спискам, составленным на основе биометрических данных. В список избирателей вошли только те граждане, которые прошли биометрическую регистрацию. В стране насчитывается 2,761 млн человек, которые прошли процедуру биометрической регистрации и были допущены к голосованию.

Порога явки на выборах в парламент не существует, поэтому они будут признаны состоявшимися независимо от того, сколько граждан примет участие в голосовании.
