Регистр предприятий (РП) отказался зарегистрировать латвийское представительство российского государственного информационного агентства Russia Today.

В РП пояснили, что государственный нотариус после рассмотрения заявки от российского государственного унитарного предприятия "Международное информационное агентство "Россия сегодня"" (Russia Today) принял решение об отказе вписывать в специальный регистр представительство данного предприятия, сообщает DELFI.lv

Как указали в РП, поданное Russia Today заявление и приложенные к нему документы не соответствуют Конституции ЛР и другим правовым актам.

Заявление Russia Today о регистрации представительства в Латвии было подано 29 апреля этого года. В связи с этим РП запросил мнение Национального совета по электронным СМИ, который указал, что целью Russia Today является распространение в информационном пространстве тенденциозной информации, отвечающей внешнеполитическим интересам РФ.
