Парламентские выборы в Казахстане закончились прохождением в мажилис (нижнюю парламентскую палату) трех политических сил: правящей партии «Нур Отан», оппозиционной «Ак жол» и Коммунистической народной партии Казахстана, сообщил в понедельник, 21-го марта председатель избиральной комиссии Казахстана Куандык Турганкулов. Как утверждает глава избиркома, правящая «Нур Отан» получила подавляющее большинство в 82,15 процента голосов. Примерно одинаковое количество голосов получили «Ук жол» (7,17 процента) и коммунистическая партия (7,14 процента), сообщает ЗН  

Среди не прошедших в парламент политсил — партия «Ауыл», получившая всего два процента голосов, а также «Бирлик», набравшая всего 0,29 процента. Досрочные выборы в мажилис состоялись в Казахстане 20-го марта, в соответствии с решением президента Казахстана Нурсултана Назарбаева. Согласно казахстанскому законодательству, для прохождения в парламент требуется преодолеть семипроцентный барьер. Согласно данным ЦИК, явка на выборах составила 77,1 процента.

Тем временем, украинские наблюдатели зафиксировали на выборах в Казахстане нарушения, хотя и указали, что они не повлияли на процесс волеизъявления казахского народа.
