Не прошло и двух недель после того, как в президентскую гонку в США вступил сенатор от штата Мен Майкл Беннет, как свои силы решил попытать еще один высокопоставленный член Демократической партии США.

О решении баллотироваться в президенты в 2020 году губернатор штата Монтана Стив Буллок сообщил 14 мая на персональной странице в Twitter, отметив, что "чтобы дать всем шанс, мы должны сделать больше", чем победить президента США Дональда Трампа.

​"Мы должны победить коррумпированную систему, которая держит таких людей у власти, нам нужен борец, который делал это раньше. Вот почему я выдвигаю свою кандидатуру на пост президента", — написал демократ.

Стоит отметить, что на данный момент баллотироваться заявили уже около двух десятков демократов, но кандидата на пост президента выберут на партийном съезде Демократической партии, который пройдет 13-16 июля 2020 года в Милуоки, штат Висконсин.

Напомним, что на данный момент самым популярным кандидатом от Демпартии является бывший вице-президент Джо Байден, чью кандидатуру, согласно опросам, поддерживают 46% американских либералов.

Мы также писали, что в феврале свое участие подтвердил и другой сенатор-демократ – многократный кандидат в президенты США Берни Сандерс.
