В мобильном приложении Facebook началось тестирование тематических новостных лент, пишет Verge

В тестовом режиме новая возможность уже есть у некоторых пользователей.

«Люди говорили нам, что хотели бы новые возможности для просмотра и обсуждения различных историй на фейсбуке по поводу конкретных тем, интересующих их. Так что мы начали тестирование новостных лент, чтобы пользователи просматривали разные истории со страниц с общими темами», – пояснил изданию неназванный представитель Facebook.

Как уточняет Verge, традиционная новостная лента сохраняется, при этом появляются тематические: например, посвященные путешествиям, моде или мировым новостям, также появится возможность настраивать ленты новостей самостоятельно.

Один из читателей прислал изданию скриншоты о еще одном нововведении: торговой площадке (marketplace) в мобильном приложении. Оно уже тестировалось осенью, но так и не было применено ко всем пользователям. Иконка «рынка» в приложении для iOS появится на месте мессенджера Facebook, пользователи смогут совершать покупки через новую опцию в приложении.
Ранее осенью тематические ленты новостей уже тестировались на фейсбуке для пользователей, которые заходили в социальную сеть через сайт.
