В Госдуму РФ внесены поправки к закону О СМИ, которые дают возможность российской власти штрафовать до 1 млн руб. неугодные СМИ, пишет Коммерсант.

"Введение административного штрафа за злоупотребление свободой массовой информации такого рода - это не чрезмерное, а правильное решение", - заявил соавтор закона председатель Совета по правам человека Михаил Федотов.

Представитель Госдумы добавил, что теперь власть РФ сможет накладывать на юридическое лицо сразу два вида ответственности: и оштрафовать, и фактически закрыть его.Ранее сообщалось, что российская администрация социальной сети Facebook заблокировала россиянам доступ к странице, посвященной мероприятию, запланированному на день оглашения приговора братьям Навальным .

Кроме того, бывший технический директор популярной в России соцсети ВКонтакте Николай Дуров заявил, ВК получила 53 письма от Роскомнадзора, с требованием заблокировать страницы и группы, в которых упоминается фамилия Навальный.
