Роскомнадзор 17 августа внес в реестр запрещенных сайтов страницу на YouTube с роликом телеканала Euronews про «Исламское государство». Причиной блокировки послужил комментарий пользователя «erotic dance», который в июне признал незаконным Бавлинский городской суд Республики Татарстан. Таким образом, из-за одного комментария под угрозой блокировки оказалась целая страница с роликом, не признанным запрещенным, пишет Медуза.

Видеосюжет под названием «Боевики ИГИЛ призывают к джихаду мусульман из западных стран» опубликован на канале Euronews 20 июня 2014 года. В октябре 2014 года пользователь «erotic dance» написал комментарий, в котором заявил, что ненавидит ислам и призвал к расправе над мусульманами.
