Представитель одной из участковых избирательных комиссий в Санкт-Петербурге (Россия) сменил свой пол накануне выборов, передает "Радио Балтика" со ссылкой на члена Горизбиркома Дмитрия Краснянского.

"Это достаточно молодой человек, который был, допустим, Артемом, а стал Екатериной. На момент смены пола он уже был назначен членом участковой избирательной комиссии, но нам повезло: он или она пока не успела сменить паспорт", — сказал он.

В соответствии с законодательством РФ, смена пола одного из членов комиссии не лишает его статуса и сохраняет за ним право подсчета голосов на выборах и участия в организации голосования.

Напомним, что выборы в Госдуму России состоятся 18 сентября.
