Президент России Владимир Путин подписал указ о создании российского государственного сегмента сети «Интернет». Документ опубликован на портале правовой информации и вступил в силу.

В новую сеть будет преобразован уже существующий раздел интернета, которым пользуются органы государственной власти. Преобразованием, эксплуатацией и развитием нового сегмента займется Федеральная служба охраны. Все государственные структуры должны будут подключиться к государственному интернету до 2018 года,сообщает Slon.ru

Отмечается, что новый сегмент создается «в целях противодействия угрозам информационной безопасности Российской Федерации». Государственный сегмент будет выполнять две основных задачи: служить промежуточным звеном между обычным интернетом и госорганами, а также площадкой для размещения информации госучреждений.

Проект подписанного Путиным указа был подготовлен и опубликован ФСО в октябре 2013 года. Тогда отмечалось, что создание государственного сегмента интернета позволит обезопасить выход государственных органов в общедоступную часть Сети.
