Российский город Барнаул может изменить название в честь президента России Владимира Путина на Путинград. С такой инициативой выступает кандидат в муниципальные депутаты Барнаула Марина Чаузова, передает "РИА Новости".

Сообщается, что она намерена составить петицию по смене названия для Барнаула.

"Если мы переименуем наш город в честь лидера, по моему мнению, абсолютного лидера не только России, но и всего мира, то Барнаул встанет с колен и развитие будет всесторонним: и коммунальное хозяйство, и люди добрее станут, и бюджет города будет достаточным", – сказала Чаузова.

По ее словам, доказательством того, что смена названия положительно влияет на жизнь города, можно считать Санкт-Петербург и Екатеринбург.
