Суд в США отклонил иск семьи одного из погибших в Иордании американцев к социальной сети Twitter. Об этом сообщает "Укринформ" со ссылкой на "Коммерсант".
"Как бы ни были трагичны эти смерти, нельзя относиться к соцсети Twitter как к рупору агрессивной риторики ИГИЛ и признать ее ответственной на основании предоставленных фактов", – приводит агентство слова судьи.
По мнению семьи, соцсеть оказывает поддержку боевикам террористической группировки "Исламское государство", позволяя им использовать ресурс для публикаций. Также родственники погибшего заявили, что этот фактор имел отношение к его смерти.
Подобный иск был подан к Facebook, Twitter и Google отцом девушки, погибшей во время парижских терактов в ноябре прошлого года. Он обвинил компании в предоставлении "материального обеспечения" террористам "Исламского государства". В иске говорилось, что благодаря их соцсетям ИГ смогло так быстро стать самой страшной террористической организацией на планете.
