Исследователи из Bellingcat создали специальный аккаунт в Twitter, где в режиме реального времени весь день будет публиковаться вся информация, которая начала появляться в Сети с 17 июля 2014 года - дня крушения Боинга-777 в небе над Донбассом.

"Мы опубликуем информацию, начиная с момента, где люди обсуждают, что видят движущийся через город Бук. Все эти сообщения постились в тот день, когда был сбит Бук, но люди, делавшие эти посты, еще не понимали контекста происходящего", - рассказал НВ один из исследователей Элиот Хиггинс, пишет Новое Время

Сообщения в аккаунте публикуются на английском языке.

По его словам, с помощью этой Twitter-трансляции будет воспроизведена хронологию событий трагического дня с использованием информации из открытых источников.

Крушение самолета Boeing 777 авиакомпании Malaysia Airlines, выполнявшего плановый рейс из Амстердама в Куала-Лумпур, произошло 17 июля 2014 года на востоке Донецкой области Украины в районе села Грабово недалеко от города Торез, у границы с Луганской областью, в районе вооруженного противостояния на востоке Украины. На борту находились 283 пассажира и 15 членов экипажа, все они погибли.

Украина заявляет, что Боинг сбили пророссийские террористы из российской зенитной установки Бук. Это подтверждали и журналистские расследования.
