3 вересня 2015 року відбулось відкриття першої в Україні Школи цифрової безпеки (Digital Security School Ukraine DSS380) – спільного проекту компанії eQualit.ie (Монреаль, Канада) та ГО «Інтерньюз-Україна» (Київ, Україна), повідомляє Media Sapiens

Digital Security School Ukraine – це унікальний проект, створений для представників українських правозахисників, представників ЗМІ та громадських організацій України, що надаватиме різні продукти і сервіси з цифрової безпеки.

Робота школи передбачає проведення безкоштовних спеціалізованих тренінгів, експертних консультацій, надання приміщення для профільних заходів та впровадження захисту від DDoS -атак.

Впродовж року провідні спеціалісти з Канади, України та інших краінрозповідатимуть про основні цифрові загрози та виклики (наприклад, як зловмисники «ламають» сайти, як проводять DDoS-атаки тощо), а також пояснюватимуть, як від захиститися.

Під час навчання тренери також консультуватимуть в особистому порядку кожного учасника з приводу безпеки сайту його/її організації.

Подібні школи вже працюють в Тунісі і Вільнюсі. Школа цифрової безпеки в Україні має багато амбітних планів, які покликані підвищити загальний рівень цифрової захищеності серед журналістів, правозахисників, громадських активістів.
