Відеоплатформа YouTube запровадила функцію обміну повідомленнями для веб-версії.
 

Для того, аби скористатися новою функцією, потрібно увійти у свій Google-акаунт, пише The Verge. Значок чату додали поруч з позначками профілю та налаштуваннями в правому верхньому куті екрану. За дизайном чати в YouTube схожі на Hangouts - чат, який доступний через поштовий сервіс Gmail та через Google+.

 

За задумом, так користувачі зможуть надсилати одне одному різноманітні ролики, якими вони хочуть поділитися, та спілкуватися, не переходячи при цьому на інші платформи. В чаті YouTube можна буде запустити як групове обговорення з кількома людьми, так і приватне. До цього подібна функція була реалізована тільки в мобільній версії YouTube.

Нагадаємо, нещодавно платформа YouTube оголосила про те, що запускає окремий музичний стрімінговий сервіс YouTube Music, який згодом замінить Google Play Music. Також на ній з’явилося нове сповіщення, яке нагадуватиме глядачам про необхідність відволікатися від перегляду.
