Колишній президент Польщі і засновник спілки "Солідарність" Лех Валенса заявив, що не співпрацював зі спецслужбами, однак визнав, що припустився помилки.

Про це він написав у своєму мікроблозі, текст якого наводить TVN 24.

"Мене не зламали у грудні 1970 року, я не співпрацював зі Службою безпеки, ніколи не брав від них грошей, не зробив жодного письмового чи усного доносу", - заявив Валенса.

"Я вчинив помилку, але не таку, і я дав слово, що його не розкриватиму, напевно, не зараз, для цього ще не час", - додав він.

Колишній президент розповів, що людина, яка може пролити світло на це, ще жива, і він дав слово не розкривати правду, а слово він тримає "навіть перед супротивниками". Валенса при цьому висловив сподівання, що та людина сама все розповість.

Нагадаємо, серед документів, вилучених працівниками Інституту національної пам’яті Польщі та правоохоронцями в будинку генерала Чеслава Кіщака, було знайдено теку, підписану "Лех Валенса. Болєк", що, на думку експертів, доводить співпрацю колишнього президента зі спецслужбами.

На думку експертів, документи є оригінальними і охоплюють період з 1970 по 1976 рік.
