Экс-президент Польши Лех Валенса в интервью пропагандистского агентству РИА Новости призвал не ссориться с Россией и назвал президента РФ Владимира Путина "мудрым человеком".

"Мы должны найти решение. Мы должны уступить друг другу ... Если мы вместе ссоримся, то третьи на этом зарабатывают ... Нам ближе до Москвы, чем до Нью-Йорка", - заявил Валенса.

Также Валенса назвал президента РФ Путина "мудрым человеком" и добавил, что охотно поехал бы в Россию.

"Если бы меня пригласили, я поехал бы. Конечно ... Путину я бы тоже смог объяснить, если бы у меня было больше контактов с Путиным. Если бы он дал себя убедить. Он мудрый человек. Мудрый, только надо для него добавить аргументов" , - отметил Валенса.

Ранее Валенса в контексте антироссийских санкций предложил ежедневно звонить президенту Путину и спрашивать, сколько его страна потеряла от ограничительных мер.

Валенса добавил, что должна быть создана группа солидарности с Украиной, ведь сегодня каждая страна действует по своему усмотрению, "а Россию так не победить".
