Велика Британія не визнала результати виборів у Державну думу РФ, проведених на території окупованої Росією Криму.

"Анексія Криму Росією в 2014 році була незаконною і нелегітимною і залишається такою по сьогоднішній день", - йдеться в заяві британського міністерства закордонних справ, повідомляє Новое время.

У відомстві також привітали доповідь ОБСЄ щодо виборів в російську Держдуму і відзначили, що в ході голосування мали місце численні процесуальні порушення.

"Демократичні зобов'язання можуть бути оскаржені", - зазначили в британському МЗС.

Нагадаємо, вибори в Державну думу відбулися в неділю, 18 вересня. Ряд країн, включаючи США, Канаду, Францію, Швецію та інші відмовилися визнавати законність російських "виборів" на території Криму.
