У першому турі президентських виборах на Кіпрі переміг чинний глава держави Нікос Анастасіадіс.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на Cyprus Mail.

Анастасіадіс набрав 35,50% голосів виборців, другим став Ставрос Малас від комуністичної партії АКЕЛ – 30,25% голосів. Саме вони вийшли до другого туру виборів, який відбудеться за тиждень, 4 лютого.

Слід зазначити, що два з трьох екзит-полів віддавали Маласу третє місто, прогнозуючи, що його обійде кандидат від Демократичної партії Ніколас Пападопулос, який в результаті отримав 25,74% голосів.

Явка на виборах склала 71,4%. Під час останніх президентських виборів в 2013 році явка виборців становила 83,14%, що на той час вважалося найнижчим показником за всі голосування.

За даними соцопитувань, які публікувалися перед першим туром, Анастасіадіс перемагає у другому турі будь-якого опонента.
