Американське інтернет-видання The Huffington Post здійснило ребрендинг та редизайн.

Тепер воно матиме назву HuffPost, йдеться в оголошенні на сайті. Як розповіла головна редакторка Лідія Полгрін (Lydia Polgreen), читачі й так називали сайт скорочено - HuffPost, передає Media Sapiens

«Іноді це хороша ідея, просто прийняти ім'я, яке обрала аудиторія. Воно коротше, модніше й компактніше», - зазначила вона. Але водночас редакторка наголосила на тому, що усе, чим видання HuffPost стало тепер, стоїть на плечах того, що побудувала засновниця сайту Аріанна Хаффінгтон.

Окрім зміни назви, видання здійснило редизайн та оновило головну сторінку сайту. Лідія Полгрін пов'язала трансформацію The Huffington Post з більш широким переосмисленням місії видання у світлі останніх президентських виборів у США. «Мені здаєтсья очевидною величезна потреба, не тільки в Сполучених Штатах, але і у всьому світі, в новинних організаціях, які дійсно апелюють до життя і потреб людей», - сказала вона.

Раніше MediaSapiens публікував рекомендації від The Huffington Post про те, як розпізнавати фейкові новини.
